Canada is once again pushing back the opening of borders to January 21, 2020 for passengers traveling from the United States. For passengers traveling from any country other than the United States, Canada's open date is still set for January 21, 2021.
Canada is allowing some foreign nationals to travel to Canada, but only if they are one of the following:
Immediate family members of a Canadian citizen, or permanent resident.
Extended family members of a Canadian citizen or permanent resident.
Foreign nationals authorized to come for compassionate reasons.
