COVID-19 - Brazil Entry Requirements


Brazil is open to tourist, but only if they are entering the country by air.  Those entering Brazil, for a short trip of up to 90 days, must present proof of purchase of health insurance that covers hospital expenses for the duration of the trip.  This policy must have a minimum converse of BRL 30,000.  The policy can be written in English, Portuguese or Spanish and must be presented to an airline agent prior to boarding. Failure to provide proof of this insurance policy can result in denied boarding. Nationals and residents of Brazil are exempt from this insurance requirement.
